The Empower Collective provides Nevada Wolf Pack female athletes with life skills resources and needed funding through a totally new vision of NIL.  The organization creates a space where boosters and athletes meet, share common interests and build bonds.  Pack Empower, the booster arm of the Empower Collective, gives members opportunity to share time with athletes, encouraging them through their years at Nevada and into the future.


The POWER in Empower stands for Providing Our Women Equitable Resources. The Empower Collective is a non-profit entity, built on a foundation of needs and ideas outlined by Nevada athletes, administration and coaches,  driven to be transparent, collectively held and publicly accountable.

How is Empower Different?

  • Empower delivers life skills and attention to the future for every one of the Wolf Pack’s more than 200 female athletes, rather than being focused on just one team or small group of athletes.
  • Name-Image-Likeness (NIL) became available to amateur athletes in July of 2021 and has since evolved into the way college athletes can receive compensation. This compensation must come to athletes from outside of their school and compensation cannot be tied to “pay for play.” 
  • Recruits and returning athletes within a program are constantly assessing available opportunities (including NIL) when deciding their school of choice. Until now, there has been little to no NIL opportunity for Wolf Pack women, putting Nevada at a recruitment and retention disadvantage.
  • The Empower vision of NIL provides all female Nevada athletes, including cheer, equal access to life skills training and financial assistance. When athletes complete required tasks, such as life skills training and booster engagement, they are awarded modest compensation.
  • Pack Empower is a booster driven organization. Boosters love Nevada Athletics and Pack Empower provides a personal connection to the athletes.  NIL allows this to occur without jeopardizing the athletes’ eligibility.
